This new pick-up tube will require coiling and installing the fuel line and hose clamp prior to threading the pick-up tube into the tank and with a utility knife slightly trimming and contouring the plastic right along the area where the 90-degree barb of the pick-up tube rests.  Some threads will remain exposed once the hose clamp bottoms out against the plastic fuel tank.  Once tight run your fuel line to the filter and engine.
